I have to attend a medical for work on Friday. It's to assess how I am at the moment with regard to whether I might be able to return to my job in the future. I have been off for ten months now, my employers are still keeping my job open to me at the moment.

That good that your employers are leaving your job open.

Is it an independant Dotor ! Good luck with that. Will it benefit you to come out well in
the medical or would it benefit you to look poorly so they pension you off so to speak.
You have been off work a long time which i think you said was ra and lots of operations
poor you , you have had a hard time.

I have been off 12 weeks now and my full pay stops next week, I then go on 13
wks at 75% pay. I was(or am) in Management of a big firm so I believe I am quite lucky.
I have now been referred to my firms Ins Co. to see whether PHI will be given to
me . I have had the tele call for all the questionaire , so waiting now for what happens
they write to my GP and Specialist. It is a worrying time. I am 56 yrs and not due to
retire till 65. So will they think I 'am swinging the leg' etc. I assure you I am not
and as you aware the fatigue is the really big issue. So who knows.

Back to you Good luck thinking of you

Hello Rose, I'm not sure if it is an independant Doc and I'm in a position were I need to work or move house and I don't want to move. If it is decided that I can no longer do my job as chief cook and bottle washer then they will offer me redeployment but I don't know what that could be, I'd be pleased to do any retraining. I will not be offered a pension, I'm 56. I'll let you know any useful information that I find.Thank you for your good wishes. Thank you Doreen too. Glenys.
